Men’s den

Also known as the man cave, this purpose-built haven is a room you will be creating for this contest; a room to pursue hobbies or simply hang out with male buddies. Comfortable seating is essential! Lighting can fully transform a room, so get creative using light sources behind objects. Maybe consider an accent wall to make the space seem bigger. Grouping memorabilia into categories will avoid the feeling of clutter.

Paprika is predicted to be big in the design trends for 2023. Create a Bedroom for this contest that is inspired by this colour with the warmth this spice evokes. Make use of it in highlights in furnishings or go bravely bold mixing with amber and brown hues to create a sumptuous look.

Livingroom Arches

For this contest create a Living room making use of the arch as a feature in your design. Gentle curves in design are coming back, as motifs in decoration and shapes in windows or doors. The possibilities for the curved edge are endless - will it add grandeur or make a pleasing space to relax?

Leather

For this contest create a study or library that has leather as its main element. Consider how it can be inviting and relaxing; it could incorporate materials like warm wood in the furniture and brass in the accessories, and dark, rich colours to add to the sense of comfort and vintage to your design.

Scale

A large piece of furniture in a small space can trick you into thinking the room is bigger. This can also be achieved with patterns. For this contest create a small Bathroom that plays with the idea of proportions. Think about which elements could be up-scaled to add high impact to a limited space.
